Wow! Absolutely beautiful. Makes me want to move to the low country so I can have beautiful flowers like yours. The old red clay around my house doesn't grow flowers very well.

      Hey, Jane,
I, too, live in South Carolina and am attempting to add some garden areas around our home. I'm having the hardest time deciding how and where to begin, but your photos and blog have inspired me. Did you and your husband both grow up around Lamar? We had a good friend from Lamar! Small world!

Oh my gosh, I'm almost at a loss for words! The colors are breathtaking. I love all the flowers and the roses. It makes me homesick for our home in Missouri. We also had so many beautiful flowers. Here is AZ we have a palm tree and a cactus Haha! Also, just a rock garden. Your yard is tremendous. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Your flowers are beautiful!! I envy you this time of year. I live in Oregon and it's supposed to snow tomorrow. We had 57 degree weather yesterday, and would you believe the moths were out? Then we had a big spider under our living room blind, which I asked my husband to kill, and he missed it. Now I know it will be back!! I can't believe bugs would be out this early. I hope the snow kills them! I saw your kitty sitting in the garden. I bet it's waiting for a mouse or something to catch.

Jane, it looks like a magazine, but better! Hope y'all don't get the cold temps that are expected here in Tennessee tonight. Would you believe 28 degrees is expected? We were ready to get plants for our deck boxes and the nice man at the garden center mentioned the drop in temperature. We put our planting on hold. Back to your home and land...I love the things you work into the plants like the bird house, etc. Fun! Thanks, Helen
