Tips to Make Cucumber Salad Boats

    • Choose firm, crisp cucumbers for the boats.
    • To give your salad boats an extra pop of flavor, try adding diced peppers and other vegetables of your choice.
    • If you want to save time on prepping the cucumber salad boats, use a vegetable peeler or mandolin slicer to cut them into thin slices quickly and uniformly.
    • For a creamier dressing base, mix your Italian dressing with mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt or sour cream for added tanginess and richness in flavor.
    • Add fresh herbs such as parsley, dill or chives to brighten up the taste of your salad boat creation!
    • For a more filling option, add quinoa or cooked grains like wild rice for some added texture and nutrition value into each bite!
    • Top off your cucumber salad boats with flavorful garnishes like feta cheese crumbles or roasted pumpkin seeds for an additional crunchy element that will take them over the top!
    • When serving these delicious creations at parties and gatherings make sure that you have plenty of extras on hand as they tend to be very popular amongst guests!
