Y'all! December is here and our screen porch that is on the front of our house is all decorated for Christmas! This is my favorite space to decorate for the holidays and most of the time our weather is mild enough to enjoy sitting on the porch. If you're new here, I'm putting out the Welcome mat for ya! Let me introduce myself. I'm Jane and my husband and I live in a small country cottage in South Carolina that my husband grew up in. The front of the house has a large screened-in porch where we spend a lot of our time. I love to decorate the porch for the various seasons but Christmas is my absolute favorite! So I'm happy to share it with you today as part of Amy from Atta Girl Says Christmas porches tour. Below you will find the links to all the other bloggers who are on the tour so grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the talented ways my friends have decorated for the season.   Earlier this year, we completed some renovations to our front porch during which I changed up the color scheme to mostly green. Our porch is large enough to have an eating area as well as a sitting area. On this end, you can see the barn star quilt that I recently made that will continue to hang after the holidays. The old bench moved to the end to elevate two Norfolk Island trees. Two rustic reindeer that I've had forever are flanking the trees. On this end I also have a wooden Christmas tree sign that I made with a Chalk Couture design. One of the reasons that I joined Chalk Couture as a designer is because I knew it would help me create things to use in my seasonal decorating. On the table is a centerpiece that I created with a galvanized candle holder and an old wreath. The candle holder was a gift from one of my sisters-in-law last year. Around the front door is some garland with colored lights. On the garland are some wooden snowglobe ornaments that I made with Chalk Couture. I have had more fun crafting this year. Especially this year as I've stayed home as much as possible. Beside the front door are the repurposed closet doors that I've used on the porch for years. Mounted on the repurposed doors are lanterns. Inside the lanterns are some white deer cutouts. Moving on down the porch is the sitting area. Yes, I finally did get the rectangular rug to match the green checked round rug! It took 3 tries before the company sent me the right color and size!!! I do love it so I'm glad they finally got it right! Down on this end is an old wooden Christmas tree that I used on last year's porch. I love how unique it is! I really wasn't planning on using any black on the Christmas front porch but I saw this pillow cover and ordered it from Amazon. You can find it here: (affiliate link) BUFFALO PLAID PILLOW COVER The green throw came from HomeGoods. Wasn't planning on having this cute fellow on our porch but what can I say? I couldn't leave him at HomeGoods, either! Above his head is another Chalk Couture creation-a Be Merry banner done in green and black! In the rocking chair is a pillow that I made with a Chalk Couture transfer. I just love how I'm able to create my own decorative items with these products. Propped down here is a porch leaner sign that I made. The sleigh bells from Dollar Tree got a dusting of fake snow! If you're into green, this throw came from Amazon, too. It's nice and soft and would make a great gift. You can find it here: (affiliate link) TARTAN PLAID THROW BLANKET

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my very green Christmas front porch!

Jane, What a porch!!! I so enjoyed looking at every picture, and I loved each and every piece. I've always loved screened in porches ever since I was a little girl.. My great grandmother ( Gran Gran) and I used to eat beans and cornbread on her little drop leaf table on her screened in porch with a cistern. I'd love to sit on yours and drink coffee/tea. with a good visit. You really outdid yourself with all of your beautiful decorations; it's so Christmassy (if that's a word & spelling).ha
Merry Christmas to you & leo. Stay safe. Cookie

I’m loving your porch this year. But then, I love it every year! The green color is just lovely. And I’m a fan of every single Chalk Couture project you’ve done. Those ornaments are a particular fave.

Lovely Jane.I have been following you for years. One question I have is..where or what do you with all your pieces once you change your colors? You used to have a light blue in the front porch. I would love to have a porch like yours. It always looks so cozy ..just want to stay there and enjoy.

Your porch looks wonderful, Jane! I love the green color scheme, perfect for Christmas and it will be easy to transition into winter using the same color. You've made so many beautiful things with Chalk Couture! I so much enjoyed touring your porch and I hope that you and Leo get to sit out there many times this Christmas season!

Jane, it's all so pretty and inviting. We finally got our front porch covered so now I want to get some comfortable furniture. This is probably not the time to be looking for porch furniture. Can you tell me where you found your chairs? Merry Christmas to you and Leo.

Thank you so much! We've had the chairs for over 20 years and they are absolutely the most comfortable and well-constructed ones that I've ever seen. They are made in America by Lloyd Flanders. Very pricey but well worth the investment!
