Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 3 cups finely chopped cabbage and shredded carrots or 1 bag of Pre-shredded Coleslaw Mix
  • ¼ cup Broth beef, chicken, or vegetable
  • 1 Onion chopped finely
  • 3 tablespoon Soy Sauce or to taste
  • 3 Garlic Cloves finely minced
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Grated Ginger can use 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Onion
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
  • Chopped Green Onions for serving
  • 1 tablespoon Oil for frying peanut or avocado oil recommended
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 12 Egg Roll Wrappers

Instructions
 

Prepare the Filling:

  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until caramelized, about 10 minutes.

  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant.
    3 Garlic Cloves, 2 tablespoon Fresh Grated Ginger
  • Add ground meat and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in Chinese five spice, granulated onion, pepper, salt, and soy sauce. Mix well.
    3 tablespoon Soy Sauce, 1 teaspoon Granulated Onion, ½ teaspoon Pepper, ½ teaspoon Salt, 1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
  • Add the coleslaw mix and ¼ cup broth.
    ¼ cup Broth, 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • Stir lightly, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.

Prepare the Egg Rolls:

  • Allow the filling mixture to cool slightly.
  • Lay out an egg roll wrapper with one corner facing you.
    12 Egg Roll Wrappers, 1 Egg
  • Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the filling onto the wrapper.
  • Fold the corner facing you over the filling, then fold the sides in.
  • Brush the top corner with beaten egg and roll the wrapper tightly to seal the edges.

Air Frying:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
  • Place the stuffed egg rolls in the basket in a single layer.

First Round of Cooking:

  • Air fry at 380°F for 7 minutes.

Flip and Continue Cooking:

  • Open the air fryer, flip the egg rolls to the other side, and fry for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Remove the cooked egg rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
  • Serve with chopped green onions and your favorite dipping sauce, such as Thai Peanut sauce.
