Ground meat of your choice, Spices
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned meat mixture and cook until it's browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set the cooked meat aside.
Assemble the Egg Rolls:
Lay out one egg roll wrapper with a corner pointing towards you (in a diamond shape).
Egg roll wrappers
Place a small amount of the coleslaw mix on the center of the wrapper.
1 Bag of coleslaw mix
Spoon a portion of the cooked meat mixture on top of the coleslaw.
Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, rolling it up tightly once.
Fold in the two side corners to enclose the filling further.
Wet the top corner with a little water to seal the egg roll completely. Roll it up, and press the top corner to seal it shut.
Repeat this process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Air Fry the Egg Rolls:
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for a few minutes.
Place the assembled egg rolls in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 7 minutes.
Flip and Continue Cooking:
Carefully open the air fryer, take the basket out, and flip the egg rolls over to ensure even cooking.
Return the basket to the air fryer and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes or until the egg rolls are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Once the egg rolls are done, remove them from the air fryer.
Let them cool slightly before serving. Optionally, serve with your favorite dipping sauces like sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, or plum sauce.
