Start by preheating your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Vegetables:
While the air fryer is preheating, wash and prepare the vegetables.
Slice the fresh carrots into thin strips and trim the green beans, cutting them into bite-sized pieces. Ensure the vegetables are dry to help with the crisping process.
2 fresh carrots, 250 g fresh green beans
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced carrots and green beans.
Sprinkle garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder over the vegetables.
½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon onion powder, Olive oil or vegetable oil for coating
Drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil.
Add a pinch of salt to taste.
Toss the vegetables thoroughly to coat them evenly with the seasoning and oil.
Air Fry the Vegetables:
Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned vegetables in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking. If needed, you can cook the vegetables in batches.
Cook the vegetables at 380°F (190°C) for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket or using a spatula to stir the vegetables every 5 minutes. This will ensure even cooking and crisping.
Check for Doneness:
After 12-15 minutes, check the vegetables for doneness. They should be tender on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. If needed, you can air fry them for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
Serve:
Once the vegetable stir fry is done, transfer it to a serving dish. You can optionally sprinkle a bit more salt and pepper to taste.
