Prepare the Meatballs and Potatoes:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 385°F (195°C).
  • Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket and air fry them for 10 minutes until they are browned and cooked through.

  • While the meatballs are cooking, slice the potatoes into round shapes.

  • After 10 minutes, remove the meatballs from the air fryer and set them aside.
  • Add the sliced potatoes to the air fryer basket, drizzle with cooking oil, and air fry again at 385°F (195°C) for 7 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked and slightly crispy. Once done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer.

Prepare the Béchamel Sauce:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  • Add the all-purpose flour to the melted butter and whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.

Assemble and Bake:

  • Preheat your air fryer again to 385°F (195°C).
  • Place the cooked meatballs and potato slices in an oven-safe dish.

  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
