Preheat your air fryer according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically around 165°F (74°C).
Prepare the Chicken:
Begin by brushing the chicken breasts with olive oil. Ensure both sides of the chicken are coated with the oil.
Combine paprika, black pepper, sea salt, and minced garlic to create a spice mixture. Rub this mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
Put Chicken in the Air Fryer:
Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. This allows them to cook evenly.
Cook the chicken breasts in the air fryer for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Then, flip the chicken breasts over and cook for an additional five or so minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
Check Internal Temperature:
To ensure the chicken is fully cooked, check the internal temperature using a meat thermometer. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken breasts. See below for more info:
Notes
Cooking Time Guidelines:
For chicken breasts that are around ½ inch (1.2 cm) thick or thicker, cook for approximately 10 minutes.
If the thickness is around 1 inch (2.5 cm), cook for about 15 minutes.
Thicker breasts of about 1 ½ inches (4 cm) require 20 to 22 minutes.
For chicken breasts that are exceptionally thick, around 2 inches, cook for 28 to 30 minutes.
