  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

Prepping the Green Beans:

  • Begin by prepping the fresh green beans, ensuring they are washed and trimmed.
8 ounces ½ pound, 225 g fresh green beans, prepped

Preheating the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Coating the Green Beans:

  • Combine the prepped green beans, olive oil, and a pinch of kosher salt in a large mixing bowl. Toss well to ensure all the green beans are evenly coated with the oil.
1-2 tablespoons olive oil, Kosher salt

Air Frying the Green Beans:

  • Place the coated green beans in the air fryer basket, arranging them in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Air fry the green beans for a total of 4 minutes. At the halfway point, pause to shake the basket gently to promote uniform cooking.

Glazing with Mustard and Honey:

  • Carefully remove the hot green beans from the air fryer basket and transfer them back to the large mixing bowl.
  • Add the whole-grain mustard and honey to the green beans. Use tongs to coat the green beans well with the mustard and honey glaze.
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard, 1 teaspoon honey

Serving:

  • Serve the glazed green beans while hot alongside your preferred protein.
