Begin by cutting the tofu into your desired shape. Place the Tofu pieces in a mixing bowl and gently coat them with Corn Starch, Salt, and Black Pepper.
1 Block of Tofu, 2 tablespoons Cornstarch, 1 teaspoon Salt, ½ teaspoon ground Black Pepper
Line the tray of your Air Fryer with parchment paper and give it a light coating of cooking spray. Arrange the coated Tofu pieces on the tray and give them another light spray of cooking oil to aid in crisping. Air Fry at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes, checking halfway through for even cooking. Once the tofu turns crispy, set it aside.
1 tablespoon neutral Oil, 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil, Cooking Spray
Heat the neutral oil in a Wok over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the minced Garlic, grated Ginger, and chopped Red Chilies. Sauté this mixture for about 1 minute, infusing the flavors.
1 tablespoon minced Garlic, 1 tablespoon grated Ginger, 1 tablespoon chopped Red Chilies
Introduce the Green Onions to the wok and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
2-4 tablespoons Green Onions
Combine the Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, Sesame Oil, and ground Black Pepper in a small cup. Pour this mixture into the wok and let it simmer.
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce, 1 teaspoon ground Black Pepper, 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil, 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
Gently fold in the Air-Fried Tofu, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated. Add the chopped Cilantro and stir briefly for about 10 seconds. Turn off the heat.
¼ cup Freshly Chopped Cilantro
To serve, garnish with additional chopped Green Onions and Cilantro.
