Preheat the oven to 350°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, add unsalted butter and mix it until smooth.

Add light brown sugar and granulated sugar, mix it again until everything is well combined.
¾ cup light brown sugar, ½ cup granulated sugar
Add eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Use a medium bowl and combine together the dry ingredients like flour, baking soda, cinnamon and pinch of salt.
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, Pinch of salt
Slowly add wet ingredients to the dry ones and stir it together.
Finally, add the oatmeal and mix it again until fully incorporated.
3 cups oats
Place 2 tablespoon size balls of the mixture onto a prepared cookie sheet using a spoon. Shape it a little if desired.
Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
