Place all the ingredients for the dressing in a jar with a lid. Close the lid and shake the jar so everything is well combined. Set aside.
¾ cup olive oil, ¼ cup wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dry basil, 1 teaspoon dry oregano, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, Pinch of salt and black pepper
For the boats:
Wash the cucumber and the tomato. Set aside the cucumber.
1 cucumber, 1 tomato
Cut the tomato into small cubes and place them in a bowl. Set aside.
Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry it for a few minutes on a non-stick pan until cooked.
Bacon
Place the bacon in the same bowl with the tomatoes and cover with 3-4 tablespoon of the Italian dressing and mix.
Place the cucumber on a cutting board. Cut a longer piece and cut it in half.
Using a spoon scoop out the inside of the cucumber, taking care not to cut through either of the ends since the salad will fall out. Repeat with the other half of the cucumber
When you are happy with the look of the boats, you can fill them with the salad.
Cut a thin piece of the cucumber in a little sheet. Thread it on the wooden stick and place it as a mast in your boats.
Repeat the same procedure to make as many boats as wanted. You can save the rest of the dressing in the fridge and use it in the next few days.
