We’d like to share a comment that we recently received on our garden page.

I own a small chain of nursing homes in northeasternpennsylvania(Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pocono Mountains).I had lunch today at one of the facilities who’s recreational activities departments were hosting a “summer luncheon”.This particular facility has a program whereby they plant a garden and it is tended by the residents as a form of therapy.Today the residents hosted the luncheon which displayed the “fruits of their labor.” I had the cucumber and tomato salad with a delicious cucumber salad dressing. When I inquired who made it, I was told that the residents did it from a recipe from your web site.It seems the residents frequent your web site quite regularly for recipes and for sincere gardening tips. They are the ones who asked me today to write this to you to thank you for helping them. So, for what it’s worth…you have brightened and enhanced the quality of life for the frail elderly population that we serve.Keep up your kind works!
Anytime you can bring a little happiness to someone, it makes you feel good.
